LIVE FIRE RANGE REQUIREMENTS

State of Georgia Board of Private Detectives & Security Agencies requires all armed security officers and armed private detectives to requalify every year on each caliber that will be listed on their state license!


Scheduling

To schedule your live-fire qualification with an instructor. Text our business line at 770-864-6618. Once we schedule your range time, we will invoice you prior to your schedule time. Pre-payment is required, you may pay for additional caliber qualification once you arrive. But you must notify us prior to allow for additional range time


Instructor & Instructor's Fee:

  • Your instructor is licensed by the State of Georgia's Board of Private Detectives & Security

  • 1st caliber Handgun $60, each additional caliber is $40


Equipment Needed

  • Handgun

  • 2-3 Magazines

  • Eye & Ear Protection

  • 2 Paper Targets

  • 96 rounds of ammo

  • 12 rounds of 12 gauge slugs or 6 rounds slugs/6 rounds buckshots

* Handgun rental: $10 + Ammo

* $2 TargetsStudent's can rent handguns, shotguns, ear protection and eye protection from the range. Student's can purchase ammo and targets from the range.

  • 12 gauge, (You are required to complete a shotgun course in addition to the live-fire qualification)


Proof of Qualification

Upon passing your range qualification. Your instructor will provide you with proof of passing for your agency and the State of Georgia.
