In order for security officers & private detectives (executive/personal protection only) to carry and utilize a shotgun while on-duty. They must complete an additional 4 hours course and a live firearm qualification course. Upon submitting your application to the GBPDSA. a shotgun endorsement will be included on the officer/detective blue card.
